Base stats visual representation with class groups
Up:health
Right:speed
Down:Skill
Left:Morale
Will add links to these buttons once ready, will be blue if it works. Also there is 9 of them so I will place in dropdown menus not on side. Dawns changed, they are 4 speed faster, 4 less morale now, won't edit graphics just for that
I made these, I always loved spider/radar charts, they show the skills, strengths and weaknesses better. In this case we only got 4 stats so it becomes a rectangle/diamond only but showing them inside a box gives you a feeling how strong or weak they are compared to maximum stats or each other.
Also grouped them in form of the class advantages and disadvantages. axie has a rock, paper scissors mechanic, in this case the groups are:
Rock: Dusk, Reptile, Plant -sturdy and high health, not the fastest.
The Scissors: Dawn, Aqua, Bird -fast and hits hard, cuts trough the opponents.
The Paper Mech, Beast, Bug -thin on health, but heavy damage and a chance to deal criticals due to high morale
Yes, it's counterclockwise, but remembering these metaphors you know who beats who. The rock group deals 15% more and takes 15% less from the scissors, the scissors deals 15% more to paper and takes 15% less. The paper deals 15% extra to the rock and takes 15% less.
The outer white square is 61x61 so if an axie would have 61 on each skill it would be a full square. These stats can't be maximum, each class has the same 164 points but in a different distribution. As you can see both Dusk and Plant touches the outer edge, meaning they can reach 61 health. Reptiles can't. Bird touches the right edge, meaning it has the option of maximum speed. Nobody has maximum skill and only beasts can have maximum morale.
The inner box is the base stat of the class, the outer box is the possible maximum using pure cards. For normal classes that is 6x3 points in one direction and 6x1 in other direction. For secret classes it's more complicated, that's why the multiple colors.
A mech can have more health using bug cards so the red triangle adds to his box, but the yellow falls out. With beast cards the speed adds to it and the red part falls out. The normal outer box is marked smaller, as both cases those stats add to it (morale) but the rest can wary. Mechs got the most skill out of all classes which makes their combos slightly better, but they lose out on damage, only 7,5% instead of 10%, but they can use both beast and bug cards. They are created from mixing pure bug and beast parents, so same group same cards, they are the only one the other 2 have cross group creation.
A dusk will have high health, but he gets more morale less speed from plant cards or more speed less morale from reptile cards. They can be healthy and fast which are the main things when it comes to direct combat, that's why they are popular. They are created from mixing pure reptiles to pure aquas, but they are not using aqua cards, they use plant cards instead.
The dawns are also complex, they got the second best skill factor after mechs, they are quite fast, but not maximum, and they can't reach it, actually they are slower than both the other classes in same group, this is because they are created from a pure Bird and a pure Plant parent. They can't use the plant cards, only aqua cards.
This representation also good to understand the meta right now. The bigger the box the better, especially the upper right corner. Morale can be good but too unpredictable so the left side area is not as important in most cases. The skill is roughly equal for all classes and no cards give skill. So it's easy to see that Dusks and Aquas got a huge box. That little extra speed on birds comes with a lot of down sides and can be counteracted with speed cards.
The plants look a bit small for the pvp side, but got to remember that low speed makes them best to steal or generate energy.
And bugs got the smallest box, jack of all trades, master of none. Same goes for dawns, they don't have an identity. That's why bug cards got buffed over and over and people abuse this by using it on other body types. Mechs in s19 got a buff, so they are the best doing combo damage, which prefers 0 cost cards, card draw and multi hits, straight damage cards aren't as good as on beasts, and criticals depend on morale and they don't have any, also they got less last stand stacks.
These are the base pictures I was based on. Probably you saw them in few other places.
